This month’s featured recommendation from our gallery owner is a remarkable oil painting by the Florence-based artist Leo Manelli.
Born in 1980, Leo Manelli began his early career in art restoration, devoting himself to the thorough study of the techniques used by classical masters. Building on this foundation, he reinterprets masterpieces from 19th-century art through a contemporary lens, blending motifs from modern artists such as Banksy, Andy Warhol, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Through this, he has created a unique style that vividly bridges past and present, classical art and pop culture.
His works, celebrated for their meticulous detail, striking colors, and playful compositions, are highly regarded by art enthusiasts and collectors around the world and are held in numerous museum collections.
